Day 22 – White Mills, Kentucky

60 miles, 917 total

Temperatures in the 90s today but not excessive humidity.  Just enough breeze and hills to make the ride tolerable.  Again, weaving around and through beautiful farmland.

We’ve seen Amish farms and buggies on our route.

Stopped in at Lincoln’s birthplace.

Cabin where Lincoln grew up.

Memorial that houses Lincoln’s cabin, where he was born.

A very unimpressed cow.

Cool round house

Spending the night in a volunteer fire department (air conditioned – ahhhhh!)   Had delicious pasta elfrado with asparagus.
